Privacy Policy
This page explains what personal information Charmpages collects, why we collect it, and what we do with it. Charmpages is run by Connor Green as a sole trader, and for the purposes of UK data protection law Connor Green is the data controller.

What we collect
If you fill in the enquiry or free mockup form on this website, we collect the name, phone number, email address and message you type into it. That is the only information you actively give us through the site.
If you book a call, that booking is handled by Calendly and you give your details to them directly. If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation sits in WhatsApp.
We also collect anonymous usage information through Google Analytics, and advertising measurement information through Google. See our Cookie Policy for the detail and for how to turn it off.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
- To reply to your enquiry and quote for work. Lawful basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To deliver and support work you have paid for. Lawful basis: performance of a contract.
- To keep records of quotes, invoices and agreements. Lawful basis: our legal obligation to keep business and tax records, and our legitimate interest in keeping an accurate account of work done.
- To understand how the website is used. Lawful basis: your consent, given through the cookie controls described in our Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not add you to a marketing list from a website enquiry.
Who else sees it
We keep the number of third parties as small as we sensibly can. The ones that may handle your information are:
- Resend — delivers your enquiry to our inbox, and sends your confirmation email back to you.
- Google — Gmail holds our email, and Google Analytics and Google advertising tags collect usage information on this site. The lettering on the site is loaded from Google Fonts, which tells Google your IP address so it can send the font file, and sets no cookie.
- Cloudflare — sits in front of the website and protects it from attacks.
- Calendly — if you book a call through it.
- Hetzner — hosts the server this website runs on, and the server that receives the enquiry form.
Some of these are based outside the UK. Where information is transferred outside the UK it is done under the safeguards those providers have in place, such as the UK addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not turn into work are kept for up to two years so we know who we have already spoken to, then deleted. Records relating to paid work, including invoices and signed agreements, are kept for six years after the end of the relationship because HMRC requires it.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to object to how we are using it, and to withdraw consent for analytics at any time. Email [email protected] and we will deal with it within one month, free of charge.
If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update this page and change the date at the top.
